A premiership is won long before the night it is handed over. It is built across a season of selections, setbacks and small corrections, by a squad that keeps turning up to the same standard. Congratulations to Michael Maguire, his staff and every player at the Brisbane Broncos on the 2025 NRL premiership. In his first season with the club, Maguire helped end a 19-year premiership drought.
Measurem worked alongside the club through the 2025 season, and we could not be prouder of the company we kept. Our role was never to tell a coaching group what to do. It was to give them a clearer read on the patterns in their own performance over time: where their strengths actually sat, and when in a match those strengths tended to arrive.
That mattered most in September. The Broncos won every final they played from behind, finding their best football after the break each time. That asks a squad to stay with a plan while the scoreboard argues against it, and it asks the people making decisions to know, rather than hope, that the shape of the game is moving their way.
Head coach Michael Maguire put it this way:
“The insights we got from Measurem were a real advantage. Understanding patterns over time allowed us to lean into our strengths, especially in second halves, and execute with clarity throughout the 2025 NRL Finals Series.”

The word we keep returning to there is clarity. Data does not win a premiership. What it can do is take the guesswork out of what a group already suspects about itself, so that belief is not optimism. It is evidence.
Congratulations again to everyone at the club on a season that will be remembered for a long time. We are proud to have been a small part of it.
